Hi, I’m Sarah, KG Hypnobirthing practitioner and Mum to two beautiful children, Kobe and Maia.

My love for hypnobirthing came after having my first child, to say I was terrified was an understatement. After hearing so many bad birth stories I was adamant I just could not give birth naturally and felt a caesarean was my only hope. However, this is certainly not a soft option, it is major abdominal surgery!

I was about half way through my pregnancy when a good friend of mine, who is also a midwife suggested I look into Hypnobirthing. I’m now thinking I needed to be hypnotised to give birth……really? Sounded more like a hippy fad to me! I hear you asking yourselves the same thing now.

So after some research I was surprised to discover that not only is it logical, gentle and evidence based, but also that it works!
Finally the positivity that I was looking for. Giving birth now became more appealing to me.

The course was absolutely amazing, and each time I practised, I felt my body was able to go into a deeper state of relaxation more easily and more deeply. This was a cherishable bonding experience for myself, my husband and our baby.

Hypnobirthing gave us the power to make our own decisions, along with the tools, skills and knowledge to release our fears and build confidence for birth.

We felt truly empowered, feeling in control and completely positive and prepared for whichever journey the birth was to take.

We went on to have a beautiful calm and relaxed birth. Not once but twice. This is not just luck, this is hypnobirthing.

So after having my amazing births, I just couldn’t praise hypnobirthing enough. I felt like I just wanted to shout from the rooftops about how amazing it is and that every pregnant couple needs to know about this. After preaching to all my friends and family, I decided the only way to share my passion and spread the word about hypnobirthing and help couples get the very best birth they deserve, is to become a hypnobirthing teacher myself.
